    Some Midland Park students recently participated in the PARCC field tests, joining students in fourteen states and the District of Columbia.   • Education Hall of Fame Inductees

    At the March 25th Board of Education meeting, Mr. Bill Sullivan announced the names of this year’s inductees into the Education Hall of Fame: Mrs. Joan Musci, retired Director of Special Services and Mrs. Arlene Seiders, retired English teacher in the high school. The induction will take place at a Board meeting in June – details to follow.

  • School District and School Grades Required by the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act – March 18, 2014

    As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L., 2010, c122), the Midland Park Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the school district’s HIB webpage, and to each individual school’s webpage. In order to foster safe and positive learning conditions for students, the school and district grades are part of an integrated process for reinforcing and strengthening a school’s climate and culture through prevention and intervention efforts targeted toward harassment, intimidation and bullying.     The Midland Park Board of Education approved the 2014-2015 district calendar (click the link above for a copy), using a new month-by-month format. Please note this calendar includes three emergency closing days and identifies which days will be used as make-up days should they be required.

This annual report provides an overview of New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) assessments, student cohort achievement data, district Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) initiatives, and school-based action plans for improvement.
